Is Readarium free?

Yes, Readarium is and will remain free, with no premium plan or subscription.

Does it work with my newspaper subscription?

Yes. Share the article from Safari where you are signed in, and Readarium keeps what Safari shows you — the whole article, not the preview. Apps that re-download the page on their own only get the teaser.

Are articles really available offline?

Extracted text is stored locally. Readarium can also build a reading copy with self-contained HTML, generated PDF and preview. It is not a legal copy of the original website.

Does my data leave my device?

Readarium contacts sites you ask it to save. The library is stored locally and may be synced by Apple through your private iCloud. Readarium operates no account server.

Is VocaRead required?

No. Readarium includes simple local speech. VocaRead is optional for structured long-form listening.
